Dear all members,
One of the biggest problems on forums as you may know is 'post boosting'. There are users who LOVE to say 'thanks' whenever they can. How can it hurt? Their post count goes up, they have nothing to lose, but the thread becomes unorganised for reading with many 'Thank you' posts.
There are also users who really like to express their thanks to post but don't like posting a post that looks like they are post boosting.
Then comes the moderators who have to delete people's thanks you so a thread can look readable without the thanks you thrown around.
Finally comes the posters of these useful posts. They have no idea how many people really likes their posts if only some people say 'thanks'.
What this 'Likes' system does is fix ALL these problems. This places a button called 'Likes.' When a user clicks on it, it places his username in a 'Likes' box right under the post.
How to use the 'Likes' system?
I have added a "Likes" Button to AFT Posts. It is located at the bottom of each post.
If you press the "Likes" button your username will be recorded as liking the post.
The number of likes you have received and the number of likes you have given are displayed in your postbit.
Please use this 'Likes' system to make the forums look nice and organised.
