Visit to Asian Arowana (Arowana Farm in Singapore)

This CITES registered arowana breeding farm mainly breeds cross-back golden arowana and red arowana. Besides arowana, they also breeds other fishes such as guppy, flowerhorn and etc. The person in-charge of the arowana breeding is Mr. Michael Lee, a very friendly person. He feeds pellets to his farm's arowanas. He keeps his cross-back golden arowanas in black tanks; a different practice from the current trend of white tank treatment.

This farm is open to public walking customers. However, it is advisable to give Michael a call before you visit them.

Michael kindly showed us around his farm and demonstrated feeding of pellets to his arowanas.
